In 2025, Sorin Sirkus from Tampere celebrates its 40th anniversary with a series of events highlighting the community’s past, present, and future.

The anniversary year culminates in a brand-new Christmas show that reaches for the skies and brings to the ring a grand and whimsical saga, taking circus lovers of all ages to uncharted starfields — and beyond.There may be many worlds in the circus, but only one Soriversum!

The Christmas show Soriversum continues the long-standing tradition of this annual event in Tampere. It will be the 37th Christmas show produced by Sorin Sirkus.

Up-to-date information on the progress of the Christmas show will be shared on Sorin Sirkus’s social media channels and website. The event page content will be updated throughout the summer and early autumn.

The Sorin Sirkus annual Christmas Show can be described as a tradition not only here in Sorin Sirkus, but also for many of our devoted viewers. The Christmas Show has been arranged every year since 1989. Despite its name, the Christmas Show does not contain Christmas themes. Instead, it originates from decades ago and reflects the timing of the performance season.

Nowadays it is seen by more than 10 000 spectators and is performed to sold out audiences year after a year. The brightest stars of the Christmas Show are of course the young artists of the Performing group. The members of the group are the most advanced students of the Sorin Sirkus circus school who have several years and thousands of hours of training behind them.

The journey toward Soriversum has begun!
